Is this worth 3000???

hey guys i just sold my other car and i am looking into buying this 5.9 liter.

has 189K but the transmission only has 10K on it.

he wants 3000 for it. he said the hoodlatch thing is broke inside the car so i think he means the handle

and the struts on the back hatch need to be replaced. along with the front bumper and fog lights. because he glanced a deer and it broke the bumper and the foglight. but it didnt damage nething else.

looks like a decent deal. he said it also has headers, full exhaust and a intake.

let me know what you guys think

maybe offer him 2800 or something??

edit: the 1st two pics were from before the bumper got broken.

I would say check what it looks like now.
I paid 5 for mine 2.5 years ago, but mine was in a worse shape than that.

bro i paid 3300 for mine 106,000 miles it only needed a transfer case good shape and the sunroof leaked ask me how i found that out lol

how do you like the 5.9?? i love the way they look and sound. how are they for daily driving? since i am a highschool student i will be driving it everyday to school and back and to work. just wondering if the all time 4wd makes them bad for a dd??

I'd say get a roll of cash in your hand - no more than 2500. Cash always talks. I bought my vette 3g cheaper than what owner was asking for it, because he saw the roll of cash. Cash always talks, always.

i got mine for 3 from a dealer that included all fees and taxes but i could make a long list on things that are weird with mine. if everything else is working go for it even at three u throw on an ebay bumper you have a reason to buy the euro clear fronts turns and u might have to throw on a new header panel 200 bucks max in repairs, but im sucka for any five nine i want them all mwhaha

well didnt he go from 4500 to 3500 after deer and then what 3000 now if u can do it for three then do it. already got headers depending on what kind around 500 then if its a kandn intake what 250. do it

idk what kind of headers and exhaust but i just saw the intake lol its a cone filter right above the valve cover... idk ima offer 2800 and see what he says. ill probly end up payin 3 for it and ill probly be happy. untill gas goes back up that is..

edit: it needs new tires so i think ima use that when i try to negotiate with him

that jeep wasnt worth 2 grand and he wanted 3 so no dice... it had paint peeling all kinds of scuffs scratches n dents. the interior was decent. all the suspension was worn out bad the exhaust was all rigged up the header flange was warped he smoked in it. the only thing that wasnt bad was the transfer case no bindind or anything but it was raggity
overall

not to mention the guy i sold my car to said it didnt run so my dad is giving him the money back after he smoked in it! and drove it all the way to sc and back...

i think he took it on a joy ride and then was like i dont want it idk but its not cool gotta talk to the father

haha ur probably right... idk he showed back up saying it wasnt what i said but ive never had ne of the problems he claims to have had. he drove 300 miles in it when his house is only 82 miles away so he drove 160 miles total i wonder what the other 140 were spent???

i dont want to give him his money back but my dad says its what should happen... which is BS!...

i did drive that 5.9 tho and even though it was beat to crap i definatly need one... there fast!! made my turbo mazda feel weak as creek water.
