WK Hey everyone building a 5.7 HEMI sleeper

Hey Everyone,

Bubbadog said I should come on over here...and here I am

Guess I should introduce myself...my name is James aka "Escape" and I live with my wife and 2 kids deep in the cold snowy Michigan woods. I have been building custom rides since I could pick up a wrench/torch/welder, everything from lead sleds, pro-streets, Body dropped hydraulic trucks to import tuners and american muscle. I guess I just don't know when to leave well enough alone when it comes to customizing/building.

Currently I'm venturing into my 05' Limited WK with it's 5.7 HEMI. I'm going for a FI super sleeper with around 525-550 RWHP! Guess we will see how it goes? Might go great... might go boom.

If anyone needs graphics designed or custom laser engraving on just about anything or anodizing let me know...I'm thinking about laying down some glass to make a nice A pillar 3-4 gauge pod, might also make one to go ontop of the dash cluster too.

As with everything...Time will tell and Hindsight is 20/20

Thanks again Bubbadog,
Escape

We all have project names posted in speedfreaks section.
That way we can check on the progress of the builds.
Post some pics of your ride in the members gallery man and welcome aboard!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I just got my Avatar up (first time I ever did that)...let me know if someone else already has it as I don't want to copy.

I'll be loading up some pics soon and heading to Speed Industry in Troy, MI tomorrow as they have a in-house Mustang AWD-IMP loading chassis dyno...oh yeah baby!!!

BTW: any members in Michigan?

Went up to Speed Industry, awesome place but sadly they are only import performance and do not offer any domestic parts or tuning. Now if you have an import it would be sweet.

On a excellent note they do have a AWD Dyno...$100 to put a vehicle on!

100 doesnt seem too bad for an AWD dyno - i assume this is 3 pulls with AFR's??

anyways - welcome aboard! glad to have more WK owners around here!
