Talking What My Jeep Did at The Track Today......

Hello everyone! Well today was Street Wars and I was so hyped to go. I went to sleep last night and I woke up at 8:45, I was supposed to wake up at 7. Time trials are supposed to start at 10 so I brush my teeth, get dressed and I booked it to the garage to get the Jeep. I get out of the garage and I look at the clock and it is 9:10.

I speed through the city to get to the tunnel and I am smoking every car around me. I get to E-Town at around 9:45. I traveled 40 miles that quick. LOL.

Anyways when I get there, I go through tech inspection and right to the lanes. Not even one minute of cooling down and the Jeep runs a 14.75. (On this run I did not powerbrake.) **** that ****, I am never ever not powerbraking again.

Then I got about a hour or so of cooling down:

Stats of that run:

Track Elevation: 178 feet above sea level

Air Temp: 78.8 degrees F

Barometric Pressure: 29.91 inches Hg

Relative Humidity: 54%

Density Altitude: 1737 feet
Relative Density: 95.02 %

Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines (Corrected ET):
14.313 @ 95.378 MPH

Then the first round of eliminations start:

Then in the second round I broke out. I dialed in at 14.63. I ran a 14.62. I was so pissed, I crumbled up the slip and threw it out.

Then I left the track and the Jeep needed some food:

Hungry, wasn't it? LOLz

This MHP CMR Tune has done wonders for my Jeep. I know it is not as fast as some of your Jeeps, but I am happy.

nice reaction times!

how much gas did it have in it when you were racing? anything less than a quarter for me and the jeep chokes on a hard takeoff or turn.

Hey man those are pretty impressive times.
Lets not forget how much weight is being hauled down that 1/4.
So very nicely done Joe!

Thank You!

I left my home in Manhattan with a tick less than a quarter and made it 40 miles, arriving with the gas light on. When the gas light is on, I have 3-4 gallons left. I wasted almost whatever was left when I left the track.

Ben loose all the skids and the hitch.
It will take you an hour to take off and you can see how much weight you shave off.

The same bolts that hold the skids hold the tow bar so it's two birds with one stone

Use a good penetrant though - the captured nuts inside the frame can seize to the bolt and tear up their "captures". Then it would be real hard to get them off
