Which Valve is beter?
Which is better? Or which SHOULD be used?
A strait blow off valve or a Bypass valve. The Procharger kit comes with a bypass valve. However the kit I got came with a Mitsu Evo blow off valve. He said the prochager bypass valve didn't last but 3k. I'm not sure if I want to use the Mitsu valve. If not the Mitsu valve then what? I don't mind paying $200 for something new. One of the nice Vortex valves or maybe a Procharger race bypass valve?

I think a real bov is a lot better then what the kits come with and bypasses, you could weld a flange or leeve the hose and then any greddy bov to fit, or the Synchronic is saposed to be THE best, one main question is how do you want it to sound deep high long short ect

go BOV... I am using the Turbonetics Raptor model, so far it is working great! Less hoses and plumbing to deal with.

No turkey call on it.. but I did see the youtube vid where someone did that.... sounds pretty funny!!!
I have since re plumbed the mid section to the intake vacuum on the M1 and the lower valve is reduced and breathes to the atmosphere.... but could be plumbed into the airhat (supposed to make the valve open better if you experience opening issues) ![]() ![]() ![]()

Are the GReedy BOV's really worth $200 ? I've found couterfit/RS types for $25 to $70 that look just like the GReedy BOV's. Something like this.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=230360902179 Now I know the counterfits use cheaper materials and stuff but are they THAT inferior or dangerous to use? You could buy quite a few of them for $200. |

looks nice... just depends on the materials of the unit... the valve...etc Just want it to open and close quickly and precisely... else it is junk.

the HKS SSQV is a GREAT BOV - but like i said contact them to make sure it will work as a BPV - normally BPV's are open at idle. mine is not.
