You can add the letter M to my list of mods 'cause I now have an '01 XJ intake manifold and I'm also a little faster with a 14.63@94.4. My 1/8 mile was 9.40@75.6.

First pass on a small shot of nitrous this weekend. Went 12.56 @ 104.22 and 7.87 @ 83.83

Turned up the shot on the next pass, did a nice wheelie, and lunched the rear end. As soon as it's got a good rear it'll go low 12s / high 11s.

Here's tonight's times... just getting better and better!!! Only change from last time to this time is the cutout and ran 1.5gal of 110 race fuel to 4.5gal of 91 octane pump (prem).

So Davit!!!! Update my times again... por favor.
13.199 on 1/4 mile tonight.
8.529 on 1/8 mile

Had 6 run.. the first 2 I didn't take pics of... they were 13.3s... I'm getting my launches better!

These are the last 2 runs, zoomed in more. The run on the right was pretty fun... raced a Eagle Talon that had a larger Turbo and NOS,... he did his nifty purge thing, then I left him in the dust... guess he couldn't drive.

Here is a nice tool that lets you see where you would be on 1/4 times... and track locations based on weather...etc...etc

http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

here's a sample (I filled in the blanks to show everything.... the calculator resets them once you move the next section).... This shows what my times would be adjusted to if I were at Sea Level (if I have that right....?) Of course I really dont understand how NA motors would perform better than a Turbo or SC engine....

New best time for 94 ZJ (5.2) today at Island Dragway:

15.197@89.51.

Run at +1650 ft DA.

Corrected (to sea level) time = 14.917@91.229.

So technically I reached my goal of 14s in the 5.2 Jeep. But I would like to run 14s without "corrections." I just could not get to the track on a day with optimal (negative) DA this season. Maybe next year.

12.5 on a blown 408? I know you;re in Denver. What do you think the adjusted time would be? Is it running tip top? Or could you tune it and adjust it more?

Adjusted time would be around 1 second difference at sea level, so 11.5-ish. It's running perfect... do you not follow Ben's build thread at all? It's only one of the most comprehensive and elaborate builds on this site lol

It's not that his engine isn't running well. He has the most complete and brand new parts build from the ground up in his engine. I'm telling you, he doesn't even put dirty bolts on his engine

The reason he isn't making 8000whp is because he is only getting like 5-6psi and it's just not enough for that big motor. He needs more like 10psi. And he needs to eliminate some belt slip. Other than that, there is E85 and Nitrous.
