I havent tested mine since I added the 52mm TB and SCT Tune but before that I ran about 7.5 0-60 with straight piped dual exhaust, Jet Performance Stage 2 Chip, Screamin Demon coil, 10mm wires, plugs gapped out to .065", 180ts and a CAI. Might have to retest one day......

I know it's probably not too accurate considering atmospheric'/barometric pressure, air temp, etc. etc. but thought I'd throw it out there.

Was really hoping to get in low 7secs with the few mods I have (SCT Tuner, FI AIrgap, CAI, 3" exhaust, 180 TS).
it is your tires. Say you have 3.73s right now you are like 3.20s or 2.90s with the tires.

I think the one time I tested it, I got about 8.6 in Full-Time. No brake torquing because it'll just spin the front tires if I do. 2wd, hopeless.

Right around 7 seconds if I can launch right. My little GPS app says 6.7, but I don't trust it as much as my eyeball and a stop watch. It can't be super accurate. Stop watch is usually right around 7.

    0-60 for fun

I use the OT-2. It feeds off the speedo in real time.

8.8 to 60 on my phone stopwatch. Wow. I noticed my Niner was slower when I put my lift and tires on there but i didn't know it made that big of a difference!

Rotational inertia is a function of the radius squared. Lighter rims won't hurt, but big heavy tires are going to matter more as they are further away from the center.

I'm pretty sure he was using the American vernacular "10-4" to indicate that he understood the previous comment.

And if that's not what he meant, it's not that slow for a lifted 5.2 with big tires.

Ok, i don't feel as bad now.

I put my stock tire size and new larger tire size in a calculator and it figured 7.8% difference from stock. So when my speedo shows 60 MPH im really going ~65 MPH. I figure maybe a 1 second difference to true 60 MPH considering the less tire rotation? Does that sound accurate? I'll run it again soon and see what I come up with.
