so, just to make sure i understood properly from the video:
    external one: i have to screw the band adjustment stud at 72 inch lbs (wich should be around 8nm), and after that i have to turn it in the opposite direction (counter clockwise) for 2 and half turns;
internal one: same thing , but with 3 turns.
    correct?

    Hi guys,
some pics, vids, questions and comments about this shift correction kit.
    IMG_0399.jpgIMG_0400.jpg

it took us 11 hours to get the whole job done! could have been a little less if the car was cold, but tranny guy is 120km from me so car was hot.
jobs done: installing the kit, cleaning ALL the valve body, adjusting the internal band, intalling new pan seal , new fluid filter and new oil, a new filter inside the valve body, and some new seals.

there was defetly some emery in the pan on the magnet! keep in mind that i cleaned that magnet 2000 miles ago, and i put 6 liter of fluid at the same moment.

    IMG_0402.jpgIMG_0403.jpgbad sign?

also bands had a lot of play, check this video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evjDpHaY6ho
we adjusted the interal one, and it got a little bit better.
    what do you think?
we did not adjust the external one beacuse we were too tired! don't need to take down the pan to adjust that one, will do it as soon as possible.

    IMG_0401.jpg
it defenetly shifts better now, but still not perfect.
    quick video
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kr_Ctgc94fw

is it suppose to behave like this? what do you think?
is it regular to shift at 2200 rpms with very light throttle like this from 1st to 2nd gear?
before installing the kit it was shifting at 1800.

The stuff on the magnet looks like normal clutch sludge, nothing that would worry me. Being that 6 quarts isn't all the fluid in the system, I'm sure there was still some old material circulating.

For the shift points, make sure the TV cable is adjusted correctly and not moving the throttle valve lever on the trans away from idle when the throttle is closed. They sometimes need a re-adjustment after installing a shift kit.

Yep, TV cable = throttle valve cable = kickdown cable.

For adjustment, I usually loosen it up, make sure the lever on the side of the trans (by the front driveshaft) is returned fully to idle (it's the one with a spring attached to it). Then adjust the cable to take up the slack, but without pulling the lever away from the idle stop.

    sorry
about the dealy, i adjusted it...shifting sooner now.
i have some slippage if i'm at half gas after a kick down during the upshift (everything is fine during the down shift (3rd to 2nd), but when it puts the next gear (2nd to 3rd) it slips a bit.)
    no slippage anywhere else though.

It sounds like the front band is too loose. I'd turn the adjustment screw in about 1/4 - 1/2 turn from wherever it's set now and try it.
I base this on info I saved from the web a while back:

The front band controls the 2nd gear cluster. The rear band controls the 3rd gear cluster and reverse. For a 2-3 shift, the transmission shifts back to 1st gear with the front band while the rear band engages 3rd gear. If the front band does not release the 2nd gear clutches before the third gear clutches engage, the transmission binds, which shortens the life of the transmission clutches. If the front band releases too early in the shift, the engine will overspeed (sounds and feels like a slip) during the 2-3 shift.
