Any of you running LA style 4bbl M1 on your Niner

If yes how did you go about modifying the AC bracket? Any pics and insights would be appreciated. Also what part # did you use for the thermostat.

You just don't use the steel triangle AC bracket. There's no place to bolt it on any 4bbl M1 as there is on the 2bbl version, or on the keg.

Not that it's important to the matter at hand, but that's not really LA style is it?

LA intake would have the angled holes for the bolts to the head rather than the 'straight down' Magnum style like you got there.

Talking to folks on FB it seems I may have to notch the AC bracket and it should work. This is the first gen 4bbl M1.

That would make sense... they are talking about the aluminum bracket that holds the AC and alternator, and with the water neck centered instead of offset, the bracket would have to be cut to clear the neck - and you might only be able to use 3 bolts on the AC.
Of course that steel bracket gets tossed.
I'm sure you know the newer version has an offset neck, so not cutting is needed.

I know about the new version but I have also been looking at finding one for the past 6 months with no luck.
