Thumbs up Changing my cam setup finally!

Soo I had a 110lsa comp cam and I could not get the jeep smogged, soo I ordered a Hughes regrind on a 114 lsa. With a 212/224 @50 lift. My questions Are has anyone heard anything bad about Hughes regrinds? And would I notice any kind of a different idle with a 114lsa over stock? Anyone have any videos with a 114lsa in a 5.9. Any help is appreciated.

You probably could have gotten through smog with a little PCM trickery.

Unless they were picking up on the cammy sounding idle and calling it a fail right then and there. Depending on duration, it might not be smooth enough with any kind of tuning to pass.

ya i tried a couple different tunes but it still ran too rich at idle other than that is there any bad news about regrinds before i install it. and will a 114lsa run rough at all?

Roughness will also depend on duration. 212/224 will still be a little rough / lopey at idle, but not obnoxious.

    Who tuned it?

Shoddy tuning will amplify emissions output regardless of camshaft, a 210X is pretty mild and should not be an issue.
