I don't know about that... did you see those Corvette drivers? You couldn't beat the car, but you could beat the drivers!

BTW- what's the 'suspension special sauce' you're working on? I just bought a set of the Eibach springs, but I'm still considering options.

Mine sits about 3/8" above stock height up front, about 1/2" above in the rear (still below upcountry height). Suspension is cut 3" skyjacker lift coils in front (~280 lb/in after cutting, stock is 190). Rear springs are the stock front springs cut down to sit at the right height (~260 lb/in after cutting, stock is 160). Front sway bar is an Addco, rear bar is stock. Shocks are Bilstein 7100s, valved 400/100 up front, 360/80 in the rear (going to be changing the rear valving soon, not quite happy with it, not sure about the front yet).

My alignment is also not quite stock, running about 0.7* of negative camber up front (changed with offset ball joints) and just on the outwards side of 0 toe. I'm only running just over 6* of caster at the moment, I'm going to bump this up a bit at some point soon.

I finally got it out on some dirt roads yesterday, it's really well balanced, rides well, drives great and is a lot of fun and without all the stock body roll and mushiness.

thanks for the infos, that xj is insane!

i'd like to put some new alloy wheels with a large backspace to widen the jeep...but i can't find the right combination of width and weight.

edit: and a manual tranny would help a lot in something like this...
