    My niner, XJ 4.0, and yeah a Volvo

    Just bought the niner a couple weeks ago. It had 80,000 miles and it was originally a texas car so not a spec of rust. Within first week it had a 2.5" high flo cat with 2.5" custom mandrel bent straight pipe (She howls) and a K&N drop in. The plan on this car was origionally to go SC but my last car was turbo (Volvo S80 2.5T) and i think im going to try N/A this time. Hopefully this will be a 426 stroker some day but i am in college so it is going to be just bolt ons for now.

    My first car i ever had was my 98 Cherokee classic 4.0. It was 4.0 AW4 NP231 it ran fine to 190k then my parents bought me a car so i sold it which i still regret to this day. Here is a list of the mods:
    -4.5" Rubicon Express springs and fixed RE upper/lower control arms
    -bastard packs and shackles in rear
    -Skyjacker shocks
    -31x10.5 Wrangler MT/Rs on 15x8 3.25" bs american racing wheels
    -thrush welded exhaust with high flow cat
    -aftermarket stereo
    -proper rear 2" hitch with trailer light hookups
    -Cheap offroad lights on top from autozone...
    -cobra cb
    -cut/tucked fenders
    -fenders/rockers/rear bumper are bed lined
    -1" transfer case drop
    -Rubicon adjustable track bar
    -other misc mods like angry eyes, leds in the interior, tinted lights etc.

    My volvo was probably the coolest car out of the three. It was a fun little car while it lasted but i just had to come back to jeeps. It was a 2.5 liter inline 5 cylinder low pressure turbo. The turbo was a TD04 14T or the same turbo you would see on a mitsubishi lancer evo. It was only set at 8 psi stock and by no means was it a performance turbo. I had a complete straight through exhaust and a custom tune that bumped the boost to 14 psi. after the tune and exhaust it put out 250ish hp and 315 ft-lbs at the crank and could take down most of the ricers and v6 mustangs but it couldnt hold a candle to the niner.

    We've got a couple members out your way; at least one in Des Moines that I know of.

    One of the other members on here has a S60r. They're definitely neat little cars.

    My favorite part was the look on peoples faces when they were getting passed by a volvo. Or when i went howling by people and i could hear them yelling "Was that a volvo?!" lol
