SCT is the only real option.

I have a B&G flash and I like it a lot. I do feel there is room for improvement but it's working very nicely with my setup. Just my .02

Yes SCT is really the only way to go now.

I can't quote the exact prices at the moment, SCT isn't cheap, but quality never is.

But B&G and the other flashers are the "send the PCM to us" kind of flashes.
Last I knew B&G was upwards of $300, plus you have to send the PCM out to them which means your ride is down for a while unless you happen to have a spare PCM.

...and since they aren't asking for datalogs or anything, I'm guessing the tunes are going to be kind of hit or miss unless you have very specific combinations of parts that they've tuned for already.

Worst part used to be - if you wanted a new tune you had to pay the $300 all over again. I believe I've read that they dropped that to $100 for a reflash - most likely to try and remain competitive now that SCT is out... But having to send the PCM out every time you add something to your build or want it refined, that still can't compare with getting a new tune via email

B&G is a waste of time and money. the results from using them have been less than stellar. the results from ryans tuning, however....
